 Metabolomics testing

  •  Case:Non-invasive detection of acute kidney transplant rejection using urine metabolomics
  •  Topic:Urine Metabolite Profiles Predictive of Human Kidney Allograft Status
  •  Magazine:《Journal of the American Society of Nephrology 》
  •  Impact factor:8.65
  •  Publication date:April 2015
  •  Research ideas:This study intends to non-invasively detect acute rejection of the transplanted kidney through the analysis of 749 urine metabolites from 241 kidney transplant patients.
  •  Research results:

    (1) The 3′-sialyllactose/xanthine nucleoside ratio in the urine of kidney transplant patients can well distinguish between cell-mediated rejection and steady state (5.0*10-8).

  • (2) When using the ratio of copper hydroxyquinoline/X-16397, the signal characteristics of 18S ribosomal RNA, CD3 mRNA, and interferon-inducible protein-10 mRNA to diagnose kidney transplant rejection, the AUC can reach 0.93, the detection sensitivity is 90%, and the sensitivity is 84%.
