Molecular protein R&D engineer

Job description

• 1. Molecular cloning:
• Design and construct plasmid vectors, carry out gene cloning, mutation and expression vector construction.
• Conduct molecular biology experiments such as PCR, restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, and transformation.
• Optimize cloning strategies to ensure efficient and accurate genetic manipulation.
• 2. Protein purification:
• Express and purify recombinant proteins in prokaryotic (such as E. coli) and eukaryotic (such as mammalian cells, insect cells) expression systems.
• Use a variety of protein purification techniques (such as affinity chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, gel filtration, etc.) to purify proteins and optimize the purification process to increase yield and purity.
• Perform protein concentration determination, SDS-PAGE, Western blot and other analyses, to evaluate protein quality and purity.
• Familiar with the characteristics of prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems, and be able to select an appropriate expression system based on the characteristics of the target protein.
• 3. Cell Biology:
• Maintain and expand mammalian, bacterial, or yeast cells.
• Perform cell transfection, screening and establishment of stable cell lines.
• Cell-based functional and pharmacological assays.

Qualifications

• 1. Master degree or above in molecular biology, biomedical engineering or cytology or other related majors, proficiency in PCR, protein purification technology, gene sequencing and other molecular diagnostic related technologies is preferred;
• 2. Clear thinking, strong logical thinking ability, strong research spirit and ability to analyze and solve problems;
• 3. Familiar with NCBI and other related databases, the use of software related to PCR design and gene sequence analysis;
• 4. Have strong English reading and writing skills and be proficient in reading professional English literature;
• 5. Good teamwork spirit, good at communication, proactive, strong coordination and execution skills.
